Integrative Options for Specific Cancers
As research evolves there is more information available about specific foods and supplements, nutritional strategies and other complementary therapies that can be utilized for specific cancer situations. There is a large body of information that is already available about these possible options, but most physicians are not aware of its existence. Some of the research brings only clues about possible options, but when these options carry minimal risk one can bring these options to their physicians and further discuss their use. The discussion should cover the benefits and risks in adding these options of care. After this discussion one can consider if these options should be utilized in their own care.
