Cancer-related fatigue (CRF) is among the most frequently reported and most troublesome side effects associated with cancer and cancer treatment, and continues to be a pervasive problem even during survivorship. In a recent study at the University of California San Diego and published in “Cancer” it was found that biofield healing significantly decreased total fatigue. In addition cortisol slope was also affected by the biofield healing versus both mock healing and control. This is quite an important finding since it is known that flatter cortisol slopes have been found to distinguish metastatic disease and predict mortality in breast cancer patients.
